missing lap markers in Activity Detail

Postby geoingcrazy on Mon Oct 25, 2010 3:58 pm

My lap markers all display correctly on the mini-map in the main window, and on the Map Detail. However, no lap markers are displayed on the Activity Detail window after the point at which I stopped (and resumed) the timer. The laps are identified on the Activity Detail pull down menu, and, of course, in the Activity Data.

I have seen something like this happen if I join, or otherwise edit, activities. This most recent behavior occurs with the original data from a Garmin 705.

Again, the key factor seems to be that I had stopped (and resumed) the timer just before the hidden lap markers. Is there any way I can avoid manually entering the markers into the Activity Detail graph?

Yes, I've seen this issue also, but without needing to have stopped/resumed the timer manually. It seems to me to be associate more with later laps in longer rides (timewise). It's a bug that was introduced in a fairly recent version of Ascent and Rob, the developer, is aware of it and hoping to fix it in the next release.
